This is one of the deliverance stories I'v been involved with.
With some other Christians I was praying years ago, for
a girl (I'll call her A)who had her life dedicated to the leading family-spirit of
her auntie.
When she was a new born baby her parents went to the tomb of their relative and perfomed the act of dedication.
Years later the girl got trapped in a heroin habit.
When she was tired of it, sought the help of a Christian
rehabilitation center with whom I was involved at that time,
as a member of staff.
A understood her need of salvation and asked Jesus into
her life.
But even after being saved she felt always the presence of
an evil spirit. It was like as if a very tall person was standing at
her side all the time.
Very often during worship services while we were praising The
Lord Jesus, she could not stand the singing and had to run away.
One day we asked A if she wanted to be free.
When she gave her approval, we went with her to a room for a few hours while we were praying to the Lord and casting out
the evil spirit.
She talked to us like A was not present anymore.
Her attitude was devilish and she (it's better to say,the spirit that was in her)
tried to frighten us.
But after a lot of screaming, the name of Jesus had the victory and the spirit left.
When she recalled what happened she explained that the tall person
she had felt at her side fell down. She even said that while it was falling down the bad spirit cried as someone in pain.
A never went back to heroin.
She got married a few years later, had a little boy and last time
I saw her and her husband, she was a great testimony in the church
she was going to to.
Praise be to our Lord Jesus.
