I usually couldn't care less what goes on with this forum. But today we have to deal with the reality of the world situation (which is Christ crucified and those who can't let Him off his cross) and the spiritual realm (which is that of metophorically dealing with spirituality) with all of the spiritual warfare in betwix. including those who claim that their voice is the voice of God.(period)
Proverb 4:13
Take hold of instruction and do not let it go. Guard her, for she is your life.
It was because she had lost Him and the watchman would not help her that she clung so tightly to Him.
If you were to tell me that John and Peter cured an unbelieving man at the gate of Solomon should I believe that when Oracles have told us different?![]()
But no one made me judge, just another opinion in the crowd.

I have honestly, only found liberty in His liberty to act in me as He will.

When I think of 'still, small voice' the picture comes to mind of a
communication that is not forceful... does not demand without
leaving the choice to the one being spoken to. God's voice, though
sometimes urgent, does not force.

I saw the "still small voice" mentioned in the title, and thought of the last verse of my favourite hymn (Dear Lord and Father of Mankind)
"Breathe through the heats of our desire
Thy coolness and Thy balm;
Let sense be dumb, let flesh retire;
Speak through the earthquake, wind, and fire,
O still, small voice of calm."
It's a reference to 1 Kings 19:11-13
"So He said, "Go forth and stand on the mountain before the LORD " And behold, the LORD was passing by! And a great and strong wind was rending the mountains and breaking in pieces the rocks before the LORD; but the LORD was not in the wind. And after the wind an earthquake, but the LORD was not in the earthquake. After the earthquake a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire; and after the fire a sound of a gentle blowing. When Elijah heard it, he wrapped his face in his mantle and went out and stood in the entrance of the cave And behold, a voice came to him and said, "What are you doing here, Elijah?""
