LA County is only issuing one same-sex marriage license today, also to a couple who were plaintiffs in the suit. Everyone else in LA County has to wait until tomorrow.

I think we'll have to wait for tomorrow's news to see pictures of the lines, but this story says 130 couples have appointments after 5 pm today in San Francisco. (and guess who else is going to be there? )

Wow. Fifty-five years together. That's longer than a lot of hetero couples remain committed to one another. I wonder if this would be considered a "monogamous relationship"?
