A star has been following me for a week now

I'm not really sure why......

Every time I go to bed there is a bright star that my mind's eye sees.

It's been a week now and this star, (which reminds me a lot of the North Star), is now being seen all day long in my mind's eye.

It is very bright but only enough to clearly see it. It shines peacefully like a star in close up view, with a black background and no sound at all, only silence.

I head sound only once yesterday, this was the sound of tinkles like that of a chime that musicians use to make a beautiful chime sound.

This is all that I have been seeing and heard.

It sounds as though you don't sense any danger from it. That is, it wouldn't be a comet or asteroid that God is trying to warn you about... maybe more like a preview of The Bright and Morning Star on His way. Did you have any other impressions?

Sometimes I get similar reassurances, that gain clarity over a long span of time. They're not necessarily declaring an event, but more a blessing or sense that God will be with me through rough times. Think about whether a star holds a certain meaning for you personally (achievement, relief, God's attention), and maybe it's God showing you that He knows your thoughts and desires, and cares about them. It might not need as much defining as it needs appreciation... soaking into the communication from Him.

Yeah, it's all very peaceful like you said.

As far as other inpressions, I'm not sure exactly what you mean, but I can say that I have had several visions, I mean strong visions with sight and sound as a real-life situation of space and stars and comets and planets.

They always bring peace ( the space and stars and comets and planet visions).

I've heard of people having visions of space and stars and the like... There's a connection between them all, but it's nothing I understand at the moment. Interesting to say the least...

A lot of our dreams and impressions are calls to prayer, but it's so easy to get caught up in the interpretation and assume it's information about our futures that we need to know.

God continually connects our souls and lives, and leads us to care for each other. Even though this star vision doesn't have a clear prompting toward prayer, it's worth asking the Holy Spirit to pray through us for any needs that might be related...other people prepared to have such peace.

Something interesting about heavenly bodies -- they usually give us a comforting sense that a living heavenly body is with us.

There is a sense of stability and quiet power, accompanied by the sense that even though the universe is larger than we can comprehend, we are part of it.

I can see how easily civilizations adopted sun, moon, and star gods... because God certainly speaks through this part of nature, in such a non-imposing and reverent way.

It seems a very comforting communication, that God is with you wherever you go. You might need an extra dose of that for what's coming up.

I had something similar happen to me a couple of weeks ago. We were praying deliverance over a lady in church during an evening meeting and asked for angels to come. I had my eyes closed and saw bright sparkling of white and royal blue light above my head near the ceiling, like sparklers. I also heard a tinkling sounds from above and thought it was the flourescent lights blinking on and off, but the others said nothing happened with the lights, and no one else heard anything. Perhaps the star is an angel.

Come to think of it stars are comforting...

A long time ago I was going through some struggles and prayed "Jesus help me" ... that's my most answered pray, "HELP!" ... anyway... the next thing I knew I was floating in a brilliant sky of stars, I was so awestruck I couldn't speak and my troubles seemed, quite literally thousand of miles away.

So many people having had visions and 'real-life' dream experiences makes it easier to understand how in a moment everything can change living in God's universe.

Be glad when our time in this present reality is over ... none the less the best thing to do is make the best of it ...

For some reason today I was reminded of the children's folk song, "Shoo, Fly." It has a line that says, "I feel like a morning star."

Wow, that is a pretty cool experience.

You know I was just about to roll my eyes at this and then I remembered something that happened to me a long time ago. I won't go into into details, but I tried to do something that would have interferred with someone else's life by creating a conversation on purpose. As I stepped out into the hallway to speak to the person as they walked by I saw a flash of blue and white light and I was pushed back slightly into the door as they passed. I do believe that people do still see angels and sometimes in forms they might not expect (Hebrews says the like.)

But now your white lights. Do you play contact sports? Taken any big spills lately, perhaps been exposed to noxious fumes? I would consider seeing a medical doctor and relating your symptoms to him. It is not a lack of faith. In fact if you come out fit as a fiddle you have one more confirmation that something spiritual (though not necessarily Godly) is happenig to you.

Well, I think that is just beautiful. Praise the Lord for the ways he choses to reveal himself to us! Nothing is more precious!

Good point -- if there's only one person seeing stars, it might be a fainting spell...low/high blood pressure... diabetes... migraines .... or of course angels.

You know what, since this star, (and I am taking this from all the other poeple who said that stars are comforting), I have actually been a lot more focused on the more important things in my life.

Example: I have been unresponsible for a while about getting and keeping a job, not anymore though, no, not at all.

So, yeah, maybe this star has helped me stay focused.
