Funnily enough, George R. Martin looks exactly like my flatmate's father - who became a huge fan of the "Song of Ice and Fire" after his kids borrowed my books.

so, who's up for some discussion or a reread?
I tried to reread them a few months back, but about 150 pages or Game I realized that the emotional investment was too much at the moment. I just read them the first time through about a year ago, so I will try again in a couple of years. Right before Dances comes out.

He is putting out a new Wildcards book, for heaven's sake! Have you read them? They should stay dead.
He is working with the creators of the Fire and Ice RPG. He is consulting with sword smiths to produce based on the swords in the books. He in doing fan cons. He is not writing. I'm just a bit irritated that he is doing everything that he should do to milk every dime out of his materpiece instead of actually writing the darned thing.
