In this dream, there was a small yellow fish in my house, not in a tank as one would expect but swimming in air above a glass plate, in the middle of my living room floor. It seemed perfectly happy... however, after a while it must have realised that it wasn't swimming in water because it flapped about and went behind my DVD player and started dying and shrinking and turning from the yellow colour it was, to a sort of mouldy green. I picked it up, and rushed to my kitchen and put it in a tub of water and gave it a mini respirator (Lol!) while all the time shouting breathe darn it!, after a while the fish went back to being the way it had been and it was healthy again.

Any thoughts?

What does yellow represent to you?

Otherwise, as for 'swimming in the air', the word "spirit" in both Greek and Hebrew means "wind". So no wonder we see verses like "we find a spiritual battle... against powers of the air", or "I will spit you out of my mouth".

The sea, from Scripture, represents that which is beneath the earth. For instance, Jesus said, "I will make you fishers of men". And the Leviathan, the Devil, is described as a 'sea monster'.

On the fifth day we see God created the "birds of the air" and "creatures of the sea", symbolically that speaks of the angels: those of Light, the birds, and those of the Abyss or darkness, the Devil and his messengers.

However, fish do not by any means represent just the angels of darkness and I do not think that means it there. Otherwise, why would Jesus say, 'fishers of men'. What Christians do, symbolically, is bring up people who are dead, not alive, and give them eternal life through Jesus Christ.

What your dream speaks of, therefore is someone whom you find "out of water", and you help them out and save them.

Remember the phrase: 'a fish out of water'.

So it sounds like you see 'a fish out of water' and it loses faith, begins to die, and you help it live.

I hope that is what it means: water can also represent the spiritual water which flows from Jesus giving eternal life.

This brings to mind some dreams people have had of countries, where colored snakes seemed to represent evil principalities/spirits over regions. The fish, on the other hand, could show friendliness, life, provision, sharing, and continuity. Positive things.

The fish was in your territory -- housed by you, but free to move around. Not confined.

Glass shows transparency and is often positive. A plate relate to provision, sustenance, intent for food or placement.

It panicked, then hid, then quickly went into dying mode.

You panicked to save it, and you were able to. (Unusual for a dream!)

Sounds like a fun dream that you created. The danger is that every dream can be turned
into some revelation from the Father. That is pure folly, Human Creation. I could say
Jesus ate fish, So God wants you to eat more fish. You disobeyed because, you saved it
not cooked it. or I could say, The Fish was a golden Angel of Light and it was testing you, you did the right thing by saving it. Any dream you have, test it by where it diverts your eyes to or away from the act of Jesus.

We are not to eat of those creatures which eat fish, as the Law says, which we obey spiritually.

The Law is not for the righteous, but for lawbreakers.

We obey the Law through the Spirit of Jesus Christ, whom no man may accuse.

Fish are often symbols of Christians or of the unsaved ("I will make you fishers of men"), though in the context of your dream the fish appears to symbolize Christians. Yellow is often a color associated with gold which represents the glory of God. This sounds like the death of the church but God bringing it back to life. This sounds like a picture of revival in the church.

P.S. I had a vision last night about fish which I will share later. I just find it interesting that we both dreamed about fish.

This is the fish vision that I had that I told you about: http://www.christianforums.com/t7392950/#post52630443

Also, I had an additional thought on your dream. Jesus told Peter that he would become "fishers of men" so fish out of water in the house could thus represent genuine believers in Jesus Christ as the waters often symbolize the world and the nations, so fish that are caught in Jesus' net are pulled out of the world and are brought into the family (your living room) of God.

What I see pictured in your dream is that the fish (the church) was surviving well outside of the water (outside of the world) and had true color that showed the glory of God, but then it got its eyes off of the Lord (like Peter did) and its coloring began to change and it ended up dying behind the DVD player. I think the location is significant, for the DVD player represents the pattern of the world. So much of the church of today is no different from the world - we, as the church, do most all the same things as the world, watch the same movies, TV shows, and that is what permeates our conversations, as well. You rarely hear a group of Christians talking about the Lord, their relationship with him, what he is teaching them, etc. unless they are in a structured setting where that is part of what is going on, like a Sunday school class in a church.

The church is dying because it has gotten its eyes off of Jesus and it has become one with the world. So, in a sense, you representing God here by coming to the rescue. Putting the fish in the water could represent judgment, trials, tribulations, etc. that we must go through in order to have the life of Christ revived in us again.

Anyway, my "fish" vision had a similar message.

Thanks for all the replies = ), I mean the fish went back to the way it was in that it grew back to its normal size, changed back to a vibrant yellow colour and began swimming happily again.

Definitely some interesting interpretations here... by any chance as well, would any of you happen to know any interpretations of 'the seven rings'? Are there any things that you think that could refer to? Specifically they are all tied to the 1 crown, are virtually indestructible but are vulnerable to assimilation by the enemy (satan). If you have any interpretations of this please just attach them to the thread thanks = )

Peace y'all!

First of all. Stop listening to Matt.

He's not as wise as Danel.

Secondly, knowledge is worth nothing.

God calls us all home. Now.

Peace y'all!

I didn't see anything in your OP about seven rings and a crown. Is this another dream? Yet, the thought occured to me that this could be related to the seven churches of Revelation, and the connection would be to Jesus Christ, yet we, as the church, are vulnerable to Satan's attacks.
