A simple prayer request

I am asking for prayer that has long since been needed. I know in my heart that I need to make changes in my life but it always seems so hard because I have no idea where my position is in my faith. At times I recognize that God Is and then there are other times I am like forget it and join in the temptations of the world. My prayer is that I find or at least go back to the place where I first met God because that place is so far beyond me that I can't recapture it. Please pray for me.

I saw the post above, and thought of another good book. Check out "when God doesn't make sense" by James Dobson. I've found it to be a great help.
