hiya ive got a problem, my boyfriend is obssessed with sex and on facebook hes joined loads of groups like " I'd have sex with this famous person and one of them was about a mum whose daughter was been abducted in the news- isn't that sick???? He has joined loads of groups been offensive towards women im not jealous im just sickened that he thinks of this poor women in this way. Wat shud I do am I over-reacting??? Please help I don't know what to do. We are both practising Christians and he says he is religious but how can he be if he thinks this way??? It has really changed how I think about him so I really don't know what to do please helpxxxx

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

yep... when all else fails drop your beliefs, morals, and principles and always remember that sex is the solution to every relationship problem.

Sex crazed weirdos are nothing to fool around with. My guess is he's also hiding (or not hiding) an addiction to pornography.
There's nothing wrong with being excited about and enjoying sex (in a marital context) but there is a point at which it becomes unhealthy and downright wrong.

You two don't seem to be on the same page on this important subject. Not too long ago I had to walk away from a very promising new relationship because we didn't have the same views about pre-marital sex. He said he wouldn't pressure me, but that would've been a difficult wait. His comments about sex which included encouraging a friend to engage in a one night stand almost made me feel ill.
What a blessing to be in a relationship now with a man who has done it all in the past and is now wanting to do everything right and please God.
