and you?

I'm taking care of children during the service. Mopping the floor and other cleaning stuff. I'm the webmaster too. And we also have a small library which is not opened very often but for which i'm more or less responsible, with a window showing to the street which i try to change about every month.
Quite a lot of work in the end.

How active are you in your church?
I do all I can in and for my church.
I have been a Sunday School teacher, usher. Help clean the church. I have help cut the grass and help do upgrades on the church building. As of right now.....I help take up and count the money for Sunday School. I also take help take up and count the money for the children's march. And one thing that I love to do......I get my preachers water for him.

I used to be more active, but then a bunch of things began to go wrong, a lot of people left (incl me) and now the place I go is closing down and handing the keys over to a new group. So now I just go to the wed morning Bible study, for which I do continue to do a lot of facilitating, incl often leading it. I am sort of marking time to see what the new group brings in. If it's more of the "unconditional forgiveness", "tolerance" and other Tony Campolo inspired Starbucks outreach stuff, I'll be leaving for good. Used to be a solid place, but now it is all wobly in the knees if u know what I mean.

The fact that I've gotten very busy at my job and money is VERY tight dosen't help either.

I volunteer at least twice a week at my church's outreach center called MercyWorks. We provide food and clothing to anyone who comes in, plus anyone who wants to can meet with an assessor who can provide resources for counseling, job training, financial counseling, plus help with utility and mortage payments. It's a huge undertaking run almost entirely by well trained volunteers. We saw over 3,200 people last month alone. I LOVE volunteering there!

I wouldn't say I and my family are all that active. I teach one of the adult Sunday School classes, my wife is Sunday School Superintendant. We try to attend most gatherings but don't get all bent out of shape if we miss some. I try to sing in the choir, done a couple solo's but I have trouble finding music I can solo with.

Take my turns reading scripture and leading prayer as well as ushering. Got involved in pulpit rotation while we were between pastors.

So I guess you could say we are active. But there are certainly other's more active.

I guess that I am not real active I do go to twice a week but we travel to go to church so sometimes it is hard. We use to do a nursing home ministry but since my last baby was born we have not take on another.

My husband and I believe that our ministry is our children and raising them up to serve the lord .

I'm pretty active in church
right now I am the choir director
I also head up all special music
as well as filling in for the pastor whenever he is away
I lead all special services
teach Sunday School
assist with the sound and webcasting
I am also a Trustee, and I head up the outreach ministries
and I am starting an evening service for children to help them transition from the nursery to the adult service
So I guess I would say I stay pretty busy
(living 45 minutes from church doesn't help either)

How active are you in your church?

very - first of all we're very small so everyone has to help out with stuff

second (and more important) in many respects I'm closer to my brothers and sisters in Christ at my church than I am to anyone else (including my blood relatives) they're my "real" family
