  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Lets use this can of pop on my desk as an example. We know that the physics of this can of pop is not found in it's volume but on a 2 dimesional boundary of space. So, if the physics of this pop can are not found in this pop can, what am I holding in my hand? Is this pop can real or a phantasm? Does this pop can only exist in my mind? What is mind? How can the mind be the brain, when the physics that make up my brain are not found in the volume of space that my brain occupies? Does this mean the mind is seperate from the brain? Is a mind all that exists? Is everything an illusion? Is the universe a reflection of some deeper reality?

I think a better post would be "some questions" as oppose to the singular "a question" i believe you asked a multitude of questions there.

Anyways, im not sure what your asking in that first part. Isn't the can three dimesional? And i don't understand what you mean by "the phisics can be found in this pop can" I don't know much about phisics, is this just vocab im not familier with?
