I don't think you will find non-adventists as Biblically astute generally as many are in the adventist church. Some have worshipped in Sunday churches all their lives and not fully realized the Sabbath truth. They come to church and accept what ever the preacher says as the gospel truth from God . Not knowing fully what is written. When they come across the truth they have a decision to make as we all do. Some accept it some reject it for various reasons. The IJ is not taught directly from the Bible as the Sabbath truth is. In order to come to the position our church has on it you have to conclude things based on the whole Bible and not very many specific texts. That's the reason I don't accept all of it the way we as a church do. I believe there will be an investigative judgement but at this point for me to think that Christ's action to fulfill the DOA in heaven had to wait until 1844 is hard to justify by a multitude of scripture. The great disappointment's influence on the IJ as we currently accept it is inescapable I think.
What are talking about specifically here?
Woob! So you make six reports in a matter of minutes!???
Again, you've made it clear that you're not here for honest discussion, rather to make reports.
First I agree with your assessment on the DOA fulfillment etc.
But Jim, I cannot agree that most Christians don't study the Bible. I find many both in Adventism and out of it that do study, and many that do not.
If non-Adventists don't study then why are our scholars in a hurry to go get their degrees from non-Adventist schools (apart from the great conspiracy theory).
Woob I just finished reading the new posts here and I was all set to answer your latest. But I will not participate in this thread any longer if you don't stop threatening people.
They have every right to discuss things here. I want to discuss what they are asking. It relates to my leaving and I see no reason for you to report people into oblivion or run them off.
So you have two choices:
1. Let them discuss
2. Don't let them, and I take my general discussion to another thread where I may or may not answer you at all.
We will not tolerate you bullying the forum. This is public forum and it is the debate and discussion forum. We have addressed points brought up in THIS discussion and you are reporting those you do not like. I have contacted ALL of the mods and will not allow you to threaten me or others off of this forum, especially since you announced you were leaving and then came back AGAIN with your slew of reporting tactics. If it relates to why you left then that is fine. But the posts that have been reported clearly do not address this matter.
It is not an issue of running people off, but one of keeping the purpose of this thread flowing in a direction that will bring its objective to fruition.
If you choose to back out of it at this point then that is fine with me. But as the OP of this thread I do have a right to request that it stays on topic. I have politely requested for this several times, and was ignored. It is disrespectful of people to do this, and I am not going to tolerate it.

I have spent a great deal of time preparing responses to your posts, and do not want to see my posts or your posts being buried beneath a bunch of off-topic posts. I think it is fair that it should be that way too, don't you?
Asking them to stay on topic is fine. I have done that. Making a new thread and suggesting they use it for way off topic posts is fine. I have done that too.
But reporting them for the purpose of getting them to leave so that you can have your own discussion is not fine, and I won't be a party to it.
Since you continue to blame everyone else then I am done here.
I will start a new thread to address some of the issues. That way you cannot just lock it when it doesn't go your way.
