"Illegal drugs and some legal drugs as well as alcohol is a form of devil worship and will not be tolerated by God. There r versious forms of worship and allowing urself to be influenced by a demon is one of those forms. When u do a drug or take alcohol u go into an alternate state of consciousness which allows u to be influenced by a demon thus a form of devil worship. About a year after I recieved God's Spirit into my heart I went to an old friends house and he lit up a joint. I would have to say that I did what I did because God wanted to show me something. I told him to give me some and I smoked it. After a years without I was really high. I realized what I had done and started asking God to forgive me. It was the only time that God has ever spoken to me like one person speaks to another. God said (I am everything the universe and everything in it is nothing, u r privileged because u know the way, u r privileged because u have stood in the presence of God). Then His Spirit left my heart and the inborn nature came back in. The bible says the enemy comes in like a flood. That is exactly how that thing came back into my heart. I was never so afraid for my soul as i was then. I had no faith left. I went home called a an elderly woman from my church that I had a lot of confidence in to come pray with me. She did and in about 10 or 15 minutes I knew that God had forgiven me but I prayed all that night and almost all the next day before God's Spirit would come back into my heart and cast out what had come back in. During that time it was almost as if I were demon possessed. There is a part in the bible that talks about when a demon has gone and the place is swept and clean and he returns and brings 7 worse than he is. Their combined power had me almost as if I were demon possessed, the urges were so strong that I could not say no to them. I was at work and could do little but my boss's sister worked for him and she had let me know that I could have her , I just ignored her. That day I went after her, I could not say no to the urge. She was busy that day or I may be in hell today. I hope this helps someone."
You said when you were "really high" god spoke to you "like one person speaks to another" and that it was "the only time". Given these circumstances would you conceed that it is possible that it wasn't to some degree affected by the drug.
It also brings up other interesting questions - are witch doctors/shamans any less talking to god when they take their own concoctions?
