  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hello All, I have a question for you. I was told that during the tribulation, non-believers that come to Christ will have to be martyred by means of the decapitation in order to go to Heaven? Has anyone ever heard of this?

I have heard of it. It's based on Rev 20:4 also something I think which has been stated by a New Age leader. I would have to look that last bit up again. My mind is a little hazy. I wouldn't go getting round the twist on it though. eg don't limit your thinking to - being beheaded in the tribulation means your a Christian and all else are off to hell. (or something like that) :)
Peace

The bible does in the scriptture previously mentioned indicate that those who are saved in the tribulation have been beheaded. They have refused to take the mark of the beast. Saved people from the trib are only referred to in this type of manner so although i hate blanket satatements i say yes it is true..

But that verse does not say that the beheaded were the only ones who turned to Christ in the Tribulation, just that there were many that did who were, yes?

correct. but also why they were beheaded was because they refused the mark of the beast.. There may be some who find salvation but the Bible says you cant buy or sell without the mark..So perhaps they die of starvation???
