A prayer for the Nation

I just want to come before the LORD and lift up this nation (USA) Tonight we are electing a new president after a dirty ,divisive campaign.First I pray for the new president that the LORD would grant him/her wisdom and discernment in all their decisions .I also pray that the LORD would keep him/her humble.I pray for this nation that we would come together and love one another as Christ commanded.I pray for the body of Christ that we would recommit ourselves to following Jesus no matter the cost.That we would be bold to live out our Faith and that we reach out to the lost with the love and compassion of Christ.I pray LORD that you would pour out your Holy Spirit one more time and that there would be revival. LORD we have sinned against you and turned our backs to you.To cast us off would be just LORD ,But I pray for your mercy Father .That You would forgive us LORD and revive us one more time.Father we thank you for all the blessings we enjoy in this nation .You have been so good and gracious to us LORD and we praise You and Honor Your name.We thank You for everything that You're going to do .

Praying for this nation as protesting has erupted and effigies of our newly elected president have been set on fire amidst some of the protesting in cities across this nation.
