So the Christian god. You should really clarify these type of things before you post a poll like this considering that many of the theists here are not Christian.

No.

Basic creationism is embraced by all Christians, who acknowledge God as Creator.

Creationism as it has unfortunately become to be known is not so basic, but a convolution of really bad science, hermeunetics and theology (which is why I call it neo-creationism, to distinguish it from orthodox, traditional Christian belief).

That last bit is too reminiscent of Hovind's 'goo to you' nonsense and ought not be left to stand.

Neither TEs nor agnostics/atheistics accept that particular mis-portrayal of modern evolutionary science.

Among both groups I think you would be surprised to discover the diversity of opinion on the origin of life (which is distinct from the origin of the species).

Which is why I no longer consider my self a "Creationist" in the neo sense of the word.

I do not stand with AiG,Intelligent design, and other forms of modern creationist schema and propaganda.

But neither do I "accept" theistic evolution or atheistic evolutionary theory.

See, I was going to vote "Yes" (being a Noachide), but since you've defined it this way, I would have to say "No".
As in "No, I dont acknowledge your god as Creator"
Even though Im not going to actually vote, due to the reasons stated below (heck the only reason Im posting is to point out, as others have done, the inappropriateness of this thread)

And the existence of God (or lack thereof) is truly a matter of discussion (and polls) for GA.

This has no place on C&E as God cannot be scientifically demonstrated*.

*See HERE (note the "scientific discussion" mention in the title)

I have considerably more respect for a person who is honest about their denial of evolution stemming from their religious faith then a person who resorts to lies about what science and evolution actually show.

Hovind, DI and AiG have a tendency to resort to PRATTs and outright lies about their opponents and their theories.

At the big bang level there's easily room enough for a Divine "kickstart" of it all, and after that... how do you disprove that Divine forces somehow guided the whole cosmos including life?

(Of course it's hard to prove it either, but there's always a catch, isn't there? :D)

The "Divine" from my POV would, of course, not be the christian deities... but anyway. ;) Yes, I consider theistic-evolution-type Divine influence as very possible, though I don't claim to have hard evidence of it.

Theistic evolution is the belief that God has a hand in the Theory of Evolution.

Theistic evolution, the way I see it, accepts that God has a hand in the theory of evolution as much as He does in germ theory, the theory of gravity and inorganic chemistry.

Of course there are those who believe that a theory of biology without God is way too scary so they attempt to inject God in their personal ideas about the theory. This is not wrong but not right either.

Theistic Evolution to me, is an enigmatic paradox.

While I observe true and scientific data as fact; I don't "agree" with the tenets of theistic evolution regarding the basic evolution to modern man.

I object to:
a) the ambiguous wording (which god? I certain believe in my gods, but not the Christian one(s)).
b) the word 'acknowledge' instead of the more appropriate 'believe'.
c) the off-topic nature of the poll itself.
