Now how would you see this sign if you were not reading the news? Also, do you think in Jesus day anyone was aware of what was happening in diverse places? Finally, we can report accurately on the time and location of earthquakes because of seismometers which we developed around the time of 1875 and then began putting them around the world in the 20th century. It wasn’t until after WW1 that the whole world began to really care about famines, pestilences and earthquakes in diverse places.
18. Matthew 24:11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. We assume this refers to Charles Manson who had at most 100 followers, or Jim Jones where around 900 of his followers died. But that is chicken feed compared to how many people the intelligence agencies can deceive. Consider “fake news” as false prophets rising and deceiving many. They will tell you to buy stocks that are about to tank or sell stocks that are about to take off. They will tell you who to vote for and lie about who not to vote for. This about Tony Fauci, how many people around the world were deceived by Fauci. In a world of 7 billion people a hundred or even nine hundred is not “many”. But Fauci helped deceive billions of people into taking that vaccine. When you look at the political landscape in the US as well as many other countries around the world it appears to be dominated by cults and groupthink.

They are trying to castrate children without the parents knowing. Very corrupt. They are dragging parents out of school board meetings because they are upset their daughter was raped in the bathroom because they let boys in the bathroom. Very corrupt. They want to legalize abortion nationwide up to the time of birth. Very corrupt. They are involved in Epstein island and Diddy parties. Very corrupt. This is what we are seeing in the news, that the fruit of the tree is very corrupt.
20. Matthew 12:38 Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee. Jesus has just thoroughly passed judgement on the Pharisees. He said they would be condemned by their words. What words? They said that Jesus was casting out demons by the prince of the demons, Beelzebub. He said that casting out demons could not be from the prince of demons otherwise his kingdom would fall. However, if He is the Messiah and the Jews are divided over this then their house will fall. So they want a sign from Him that He is in fact speaking from God. There is a principle in the Torah and in the Old Testament prophets that when God issues a judgment on Israel He will give them a sign. 39 But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas: Jesus doesn’t deny that they can get a sign, but He points out that seeking for a sign is evidence that they are evil and adulterous. If someone accuses me of lying I ask to see the offending word. Show me the post. When Facebook suspended me I wanted to see what rule I had violated. They are not denying any of the accusations. Their accusation was that Jesus was not the Messiah, He was not speaking from God. By asking for a sign they are doubling down on this accusation. So what was “the sign of Jonah”? Yes, he was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights just as Jesus was in the earth for that time. Yes the people of Nineveh worshipped the fish and had a prophecy that a prophet would come in the belly of a fish just as the Jews worshipped the God of resurrection life. But Jonah also went to and fro throughout the city saying it would be overthrown in 40 days. The judgement was stayed because they repented. Their sin had been enslaving Jews. So you can compare what Jonah did to what BLM did telling America to repent for slavery. But you can also say that Jesus ministry and the apostles ministry going throughout Jerusalem for forty years telling them to repent before Jerusalem was raised to the ground by Titus was also the sign of Jonah. Now from 71 AD, the year that Rome celebrated the defeat of Jerusalem the gospel went to the four corners of the earth. If we count 40 jubilees it is 40x49+1 years = 1961 years. Add that to 71 AD and we get 2032. This evil and adulterous age is given until 2032 to repent and then the judgment will fall. Actually the fiftieth year, which would be 2032 is when freedom is proclaimed. Seven years prior is the start of the 70th week for the Jews and the 280th week for the world. This is the last seven years in which you can still repent and be forgiven. This begins in 2025. This is the problem with the news, they will give you the BLM riots, they will talk about the technological advances of AI, Quantum computers, Starlink, RFID chips, they will tell you about earthquakes and pestilences and famines in diverse places, but they never put all this news into perspective of the Bible.
