A New Creation

Everyday, I post whatever message the Lord wants me to share from my quiet time on Facebook. I decided to begin sharing here as well.

A New Creation

"17Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.£ The old has passed away; behold, the new has come." (2 Cor 5:17)

‎"18All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation;
19that is, in Christ God was reconciling£ the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to ...us the message of reconciliation.
20Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.
21For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. "

When you are truly saved, God truly makes you new and works miracles in your life through the changes that He makes. Salvation from sins doesn't only mean that you inherirt eternal life, but also that you are freed from slavery to your sins... while you are still alive. His grace is now available to you. Before you are saved, you have no other option, but once you are saved, you trade your old life for His Righteousness! It is awesome to see the changes that He makes in your life and as He works, you KNOW that it is He doing the work and NOT you. You just stand back and go, "Wow! Praise the Lord!! and you KNOW beyond the shadow of a doubt that you truly are a saved soul!! That is the most AMAZING realization that you will ever come to while here on earth, if you accept the free gift of HIs salvation. He is not only working on your conscience, but also in your unconscious life as He is healing you and loosening the chains and you just sit back and experience the freedom as well as the joy that comes from the freedom! That is a true miracle from God and noone or nothing else can do that!! Hallelujah! Praise God! Amen!

7so that the tested genuineness of your faith—more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire—may be found to re...sult in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
8Though you have not seen him, you love him. Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory,
9obtaining the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls." (1 Pet 1:6-9)

Another poem from "Springs i the Valley":

"Thou Who didst fashion man on earth, to be
STrong in Thy strength, and with Thy freedom free,
Complete at last Thy great design in me.

Cost what it may of sorrow and distress,
Of empty hands, of utter loneliness,
I dare not, LORD, be satisfied with less.

So, LORD, reclaim Thy great design in me,
Give or reclaim Thy gifts, but let me be
Strong in Thy strength, and with Thy freedom free."

Thank you for your excellent post - a life that is truly freed from sin's chains is one that is blessed beyond comprehension. Those of us who have sinned much and have been forgiven much are blown away by God's grace. God is so good! Dad
