Last week i felt extremely low in my faith, and when I feel this way I know that our LORD wants to push my faith one level further... I have been here before with other matters, only to come up the other side much more stronger...
I just wanted to share with you all, a story which shows the importance of loving one another as Christ loves each of us, he loved even those that we may not be able to stand, those who we have problems communicating, he loves those that hurt us, he loves loves Catholics/protestants/hindus/atheists/pagans/everyone in exact same way, he loved even those which society believes have done the worst things to mankind, he loves each of us with the exact same love as he loves you or me, he does not love one more then another. We must learn to forgive and love one another as he loves us.
A couple of days ago I was listening to recording of a Portuguese testimony by a guy who was leading a prayer group, the prayer group was taking place in a build just oposite an hospital, and one evening a mother crying came in carrying her dead son in her arms, as the doctors had given up the attempts to restore his life in the hospital across the street.
The mother crying handed her son over to this guy and asked this guy that with his faith that he brings her son back to life, and he then went on to explain that he prayed twice and then with the help of GOD he just emersed himself into trying to love this child (that he was holding) with the love that GOD has for each of us, the love that GOD the Father has for his only son Jesus (this guy's prayer life is deep) and for 25 minutes GOD showed this guy what went on in this little boys short life and how he had given up the fight for his life (during the audio recording he went to show bible passages that show how this is possible for anyone with faith). And this little boy came back to live trough this guys intercession and everyone in the prayer group witness this event.
I wish this testimony was available in english so that you all could listen to it.
John 13:34-35 (New American Standard Bible)
34"A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another.
35"By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another."
