It's not going to work to achieve what Paul is REALLY talking about in Corinthians.

The idea is mostly foolish.

No warnings? Yet, now even atheists can post anywhere they want to?

Obviously Erwin hasn't spent much time in GA, to see what kind of posts these people put up.

Indeed CF needs to change; but I predict that the new CF according to Erwin, is going to be worse off.

There is no such thing as unity in pluralism, but only nonsense.

Hence, this idea is going to create much confusion, and give rise to a Laodicia unlike we have ever seen before.

I don't know. It might be a good idea to allow non believers to come to our forums. You would invite a non Christian to come to our church if we wanted. Erwin does need to realize that this site will never be truly united. Too many different opinions.

The problem with it is that it removes all boundaries, and enables anyone to teach things that are utterly opposed to Christianity, while declaring them to be Christian teachings.

This could create such confusion, that many people will not come to know what Christianity really means. At least not on CF anyway.

Another problem that I see resulting from this would be constant flaming from atheists, as well as people from other denominations that oppose what we believe. Thus this could turn into a very hateful place.

Of course, the biggest issue that I have with it is that it is not a Biblical approach to truth, or Christian evangelism.

oooh come on now you rmaking a mole hill into a mountain. The apostles were constantly being persecuted and condemned for knowing JESUS but still under unimaginal odds they persevered . I was a JW all my life (until 13) they went door to door trying to spread the word. We tried this in a SDA cell group and it fizzled out after 1 day. Not putting SDA down but it takes alot of guts to do it. out of our comfort zone and all that. Atheists are here to antagonize people just to test us like the devil tempts and tests us everyday. We can either grow stronger in our convictions or lose faith and give up. I read a story about soldiers in Asia made people spit on a bible at gunpoint, a little girl had enough faith to wipe the spit from the boook and ask JESUS to forgive them ( they shot her) what a Jesusfreak now we can learn alot from that little girl to have un stoppable faith, God bless you all.

I don't think I am blowing this out of proportion. I think I do have some legitimate concerns about this.

Keep in mind that there will be no more warnings. In other words, it will become an anything goes forum. This could be a very dangerous scenario, especially to people that are new to the faith.

The implications of this new CF are astoundingly horrific!

But if warnings can't be issued, how could you take action against a flame?

See, it is Babel. Confusion. It makes no sense at all. Erwin doesn't make any sense at all.

He wants a pluralistic version of Christianity, which doesn't really make any sense at all.

conflict has been here since Adam and eve sinned and somebody still had it in their heart do the right thing and the first persecution message was cain and able. This story illustrate why we need to remain faithful adn trusting . Amen.

That's like saying, what's wrong with the idea that there is no absolute truth, that all views are correct, and lead to God?

You should really spend some time studying a world-view before making a conclusion about it.

Of course, I would urge you to examine it in light of what the Bible tells us is true.
