I love Old Testament and I have learned more about the Old Testament by reading the New Testament. New Testament gave me a better picture. New Covenant is sealed in the blood of Jesus, Who is our Savior and Mediator, brought us together with His Grace and Mercy that we have great spiritual and eternal freedom. The Old Testament priests, sacrifices, and sanctuary are superseded by the mediation of Jesus, the crucified, risen, and reigning God-man (Heb. 1-10), in whom believers now find their identity as the seed of Abraham and the people of God (Gal. 3:29; 1 Pet. 2:4-10). Hebrews 9:15 For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritancenow that he has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant.

No, I've watched CF go from a wonderful Christian forum to a badly neglected garden with lots of snakes. I can actually understand why Erwin said that he hated coming on here - probably because his child was so out of control it needed reform school, but that's neither current philosophy or PC. Instead, he's decided to allow CF to commit suicide. Unfortunately as it's headed for the bridge abutment at 100 mph, it's going to take along a whole bunch of innocent bystanders.

Edited to add: I also was a mod and I left both the mod-ship (forever) and CF for about 6 months due to no longer being allowed to preach the gospel for fear of offending. God brought me back though I'm now praying for a release.

The question here is, when did God has given you the grace to handle CF's situation? Now if one is consumed by preoccupation on focusing CF issues, then God's Great Commission is lost. It is not good to attempt to understand why CF is changing but we are to simply trust God regardless what we go through.

Amen to that! I just think we need to do a lot of praying about all of this. For Erwin, and for the cf site and mission and ministry

To what we have now if it was indeed God who led toward the above which was stated on several occasions in several threads through several years to what is being stated now. They directly contradict. So it wasnt God saying it then or it isnt God saying it now .

God wouldnt be saying both. If God said it and said the policy would not change and then it changes , something is wrong.

Erwins mistake was presuming that it was impossible for God to lead him in a new direction. None of us knows the mind of God or what he is going to call us to do next.
