is someone who doesn't believe in the Bible really a Christian though?

Whatever....Well, I've seen people on CF who unintentionally hurt others with what they say... but if they do it unintentionally, then they aren't wolves, they just aren't aware that they hurt someone.
Christianity which leads to salvation and not feel-good warm fuzzies is not diverse at it's core. Why? By the way, CF as a site uniting all Christians will sort of reflect all Christianity, which is very diverse.
Well, maybe God inspired Erwin to create a website which would unite all Christians, but the way Erwin wanted to fulfill that vision at first was wrong and he finally realized it... now he's trying to fulfill that vision in a different, in my opinion much better, way.
Its not the Bible that makes a Christian. It is Christ who makes us a Christian. It is how believe according to the Holy Spirit's conviction, not to our reasoning or knowledge.
Studying the scriptures requires the Holy Spirit which is inward, not outward. The Holy Spirit is within us believers, Christ dwells in our hearts, and "Christ in you, the hope of glory" (Colossians 1:27) is the burning core of the Christian faith.and how do we know who Christ is? The Bible

That doesn't necessarily mean that the Bible is infallible.and how do we know who Christ is? The Bible

I have to say, Jim, that I'm shocked that these wishy-washy self-involved posts have been from you. What happened to your fire?Studying the scriptures requires the Holy Spirit which is inward, not outward. But isn't that ....limiting?I suggest that the time and post count restrictions now in place (like having been a member for at least 6 months and having a certain post count) remain in place, and ALSO that the same be applied to any member who will be able to vote in moderator elections!
In short:
1. only members having been members here for 6+ months and xxx posts may applied to be moderators
2. only members having been members for 6+ months and having a certain post count will be eligible to vote in any staff elections!
That way it will be harder for people to just create sock accounts which then are used for skewing the vote in an election, and also help to ensure that only people who are regularly posting here and thus know this site, will be elected t staff level!
In the beginning was the WORD! How can we seperate ourselves from the Word of God? What is the Bible for if not for our benefit and to help us grow in the Lord?
2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.
Hi Bear - Yep, that was confusion from God because the people did NOT DO AS HE COMMANDED!Babel?
