Sure.. labeling a Christian by their doctrinal beliefs more than their spiritual fruits. Sounds like a good plan. No, for me, I know from the Word what a Christian is, and as has been defined in this thread.
I'm not someone who says everyone is saved, or will be whatever they believe and however they live.
NO, it doesn't. I DO NOT agree with that. Sorry.just doesn't cut it.Again, if we stop looking at staff positions as leadership, then it seems fine to have non-Christians in staff positions.
Conservative here too..FWIW- most people would not in a million years label me as a 'lib'....
Care to expand?NO, it doesn't. I DO NOT agree with that. Sorry.just doesn't cut it.
Church is spiritual. Not organizational or body. Christians as a community is a CHURCH.maybe because there was no church when he said it?
Scripture sounded fleshy? This sounds like God is limited and this sounded too fleshy than spiritual.
Its funny because the Pharisees said the same.People who constantly cry legalism are borderline heretics who are afraid to confront their incorrect beliefs.
I'm sure that disrupting the forum will be still against the rules.I have other things to do, and we're going round and round in circles.
Overall, a Christian is now on CF anyone who wants to label themselves as such and can become staff and disrupt.
No, they are just people who have different beliefs than you.People who constantly cry legalism are borderline heretics who are afraid to confront their incorrect beliefs.
What we need are not mods but fruit inspectors!Sure.. labeling a Christian by their doctrinal beliefs more than their spiritual fruits. Sounds like a good plan.
Church is spiritual. Not organizational or body. Christians as a community is a CHURCH.
And yes, they did meet as a "church" in people's homes.
Well... we are either spirit-controlled or not? If you want rules, than it is control by man-made rules.Scripture sounded fleshy?
Prodical, run, run back home. Your Father is waiting.
This means that we can be treated like grown ups instead of children who are being parented by contol freaks.
Now, don't get me wrong. Not all of the moderators are like that. In fact, it is just a few, but it does happen.

A church is an assembly of believers and is made up of real spiritual people. We who love Jesus Christ constitute the true church. We belong to the collective Body of Christ whether we're alive or in glory. The Greek word for church is ekklesia, which means "an assembly of called-out ones. " The church is made up of people called by God to be His children. We have become united with all other believers by faith in Christ, who said, "I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it" (Matt. 16:18). Jesus meant He would gather together a body of believers. He wasn't talking about organizations; He was talking about people. We who know and love Him are the living church that has been born into the family of God by the Holy Spirit. As members of "the general assembly and church of the first-born, who are written in heaven" (Heb. 12:23), we have been declared righteous because our sin has been washed away by the blood of Jesus Christ (Rev. 1:5).Your lack of any Biblical understanding is showing.
A church is very much a body, it cant be one person, Ecclesia (transliterated from the Greek) means gathering or community, so it has to be a body or organization of some sort. THis whole "each of us are the church and its in our heart" nonsense is heresy.
Its funny because the Pharisees said the same.
Well... we are either spirit-controlled or not? If you want rules, than it is control by man-made rules.
If you want grace, allow God to rule.
New idea? LOLwhat would be the point? My opinion doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things..so no, i won't...thanks anyway.
Prodical...you seem to be obsessed with calling people pharisees...would you care to CAN IT! I am SICK of your name calling..adn that is EXACTLY why this 'new' idea WILL NOT WORK! People like you coming in and doing exactly that...and now..YOU CAN GET AWAY WITH IT! Neat huh?
Ya. "God's Rules" Every cult leader in history wanted his followers to follow "God's Rules".Well... we are either spirit-controlled or not? If you want rules, than it is control by man-made rules.
If you want grace, allow God to rule.
I think he's speaking to the fact that everyone to some degree projects aspects of themselves upon Jesus. When you talk to alot of people you find out they've done this when Jesus suddenly loves the same things they love and hates the same things they hate. The Westboro Baptist Church is a good example of such a behavior. In short, he's addressing idolatry, which is probably going to be running rampant in here now. Since all you have to do is merely say you're a Christian now, you're gonna see alot of different Jesus's in this forum. There's one Jesus Christ.
I've never seen anyone claim that Jesus was transsexual.... where did you get that?
