xapis... out... it's Saturday people. Go outside.
I think this is mistated too often in this thread. It's based on "who am I to judge. If you say you're a Christian, you are." That is not Biblical.
A lot of discussion could have been avoided if Erwin would have just / will just sit down and properly write IN ONE PLACE what the new rules / format will be.
His definition though of who is considered a Christian has very much shifted. And it's not based on Biblical belief any more. It's based on "who am I to judge. If you say you're a Christian, you are." That is not Biblical.
Maybe nothing, maybe everything! Depends on how strongly the person's spirituality presents itself. Wasn't that the basic complaint about some who were mods? But what does it have to do with being a forum moderator?
Salvation Army leadership does not go to unbeleivers. That's what The Salvation Army (my church) has always done.
As I stated previously, it does not accurately reflect the NEW mission of the NEW CF.
It should state somthing like: Uniting people of all religions or no religion as one body.
Do you see anything wrong with my logo suggestion?

Yes and many other denominations. That's what The Salvation Army (my church) has always done.
Well, first of all, "Christian" and "Biblical" aren't synonyms. And second, different Christians view the Bible in different ways.
Leadership teaches the Church while the Church make disciples. Jesus says, "Go . . . and make disciples of all nations".Salvation Army leadership does not go to unbeleivers.
Lucky for us he didn't do this last yearExactly. Its the 7th day Sabbath. Time to worship and rest in the Lord's love.
It just dawned on me that Irwin selected the 7th day Sabbath to kick off his new CF plan. Note the date today: 07-07-07
Maybe just one more time:
!!! LISTEN !!!
This is a time of flux. A time of passion.
Please. Try not to say something you'll regret in the morning.
Please. Try not to hold something against a friend that was said in the heat of the moment.
Yes, air your griefs, your jubilations. Just think first. Count to 10, and re-read your post before hitting submit.
AMEN!!!! Well said Sister!!!!okay, I just read the OP,
I don't see that there is a problem!
I think that people are making mountains out of mole hills!
I think that we all need to sit back and let this "roller coaster" start...
those who feel they can't ride it, should step aside. Sorry.
I personally think that a lot of this has to do with the fact that there are people who want us to shut down..
WHY? because we make a difference in the lives of others...
Now with that being said, living a Christian life is not always easy. We are all faced with temptations and we all fall short of the Glory of God.
So... where do we start?
Right here,
Prayerfully consider what you should do.
And Go on about the business of life, making sure that we each take responsibility for our own actions and words.
BE BLESSED! BE A BLESSING TO OTHERS!
Thank you.AMEN!!!! Well said Sister!!!!
