I am praying for you lambslove. That God will, without a doubt, make His Will for your life and occupation known to you.

I would like to say that this thought comes to my mind:

Evangelism is always in God's Will for us. We are told to go out and preach the Gospel. It is Biblical.

No, you're not being nosey. You want info to help me decide.

The change of career would likely mean relocation. Farmers are tied to their land. Except that the farm has been sold and he will be moving anyway. It may be God's way of saying that my new career would have His blessing. There would be a large amount of money coming to him, and he wants to buy another farm just up the road. The land is junk, though, and I've been praying that he won't be able to buy it. So far, so good.

Also, farming brings in no money. We'd be living off my income, which is substantial in my current career but would be minimal in the new career, at least at first. He's worried that we will starve to death.

That's the long and short of the conflict.
