A Need To Process Our Experiences

Where have you all seen God at work this week???

In less than 24 hours my daughter went from symptoms of bacterial pneumonia to well enough to go to school tomorrow. When this happens i am so thankful that God grants the intelligence to invent medicines to heal.

One way is in the renewed relationships with my sons. I missed a few years with them and it has torn me up. They are slowly becoming more open and sociable in the family forum. I've been praying for it!

I've seen God at work in my husband - making him an even better dad than before - if that's even possible! I've seen him growing our eldest son into a young man already (way, way too soon!!) and watched him grow that boy into confidence. I'm hoping that God is working in the doctors to get our youngest son well again. Other than that ... he brought rain to south central Texas this morning .. and so much so that we are on a flood warning .. roflol. God has an awesome sense of humor!

Ok - to my accountability partners out there.
My daughter and I walked again last night!

I had PT again yesterday.
Left arm isn't doing well.
I see the doctor today.
I really don't want surgery -
but what I do want is them to put me under
and manipulate my arm and break up whatever
is wrong - so I can follow up with PT with less pain.

Work is going to be crazy today.

Next week - Nashville for three days
Then the next week - I may fly to Dallas just for one meeting and fly back the same day-
and wave to Cat!
The next week - Denver for three days.

Once I began using that fan - I can't hear anything.

My van just got towed into the shop; don't know what is wrong yet.
I am in good hands and right now I am praising and worshipping God for He is so good.

My life has truly turned around and I want to Praise Him!!

Hey CM - whatever happened with your van?

Mine was the alternator - too bad BW wasn't here to fix it as well as diagnose it! It ended up being $500!

Laugh for today:

I had been teaching my three-year old daughter, Caitlin, the Lord's Prayer. For several evenings at bedtime, she would repeat after me the lines from the prayer. Finally, she decided to go solo. I listened with pride as she carefully enunciated each word, right up to the end of the prayer: "Lead us not into temptation," she prayed, "but deliver us some E-mail. Amen."
