Morning family!

Man, I'm tired this morning - and don't want to go to work!

BW -don't get nervous - it probably makes the blood pressure go up!!! I'm praying. Please let us know!!!

Dallas - it is fun watching you grow! He also wants praise in the storm. As in Job - "The Lord giveth, the Lord taketh away - I will praise the name of the Lord."

There is a new song by Casting Crowns called (I think) - "I will praise Him in the storm". If you don't listen to a contemporary Christian music station - try doing that. Alot of growth can come from the music and it is such an encouragement!

Jenna - I really haven't been doing a whole lot. I'm excited about going to Bible Study again. I'm learning alot - some I'm not sure I like right now, but it's all good.

Well nothings hanging last time I checked its sort of compact! LOL!! Just kidden.

Aww so you have all the kiddos? If so you are braver than I sir.

Are ya'll doing fun stuff? You know board games are awesome with music in the background with some eating in the den aloud.:)

Anyway besides the fact Im "compact" things are looking bright for me MSGP. Im not fighting with my 16 year old son now. I was able to get over myself and realize they say things like "I cant stand you".(roll eyes). LOL!

And tomorrow we are going to a Greek festival.Taste all the differnet foods and see what it is Greek people do.LOL!!! One of the benefits of living in Dallas.A melting pot of culture. (maybe we will eat some lamb!)

Enjoy!

Blessings

How did your Greek experience go?? Hubby treated me to a Greek restaurant for our anniversary this year, a total surprise since he arranged the childcare and everything!! It was delicious!! There is a great Greek buffet in the Grand Prairie area, I bet you'd all like trying that, and the prices were pretty fair. :)

This weekend, we took the kiddos to a Rock and Mineral show, and then we tried a cool drink shop that served Taiwanese Bubble Tea, and Vietnamese Shaved Ice... we had a blast!!! I haven't had that much non-stop, all-day fun in too many years.

I love that I have a husband that loves to try new things and go on spontaneous adventures!!! God has truely blessed me.

Hi CM!
No it's not a trick question.
There really is a disease where the body feels no pain. The answer (which I will share later) may surprise you. Well it did me!

How are you doing?

Actually two diseases that I know of...

Hey ya'll!

MsJL I havnt talk to you in a while. How are you?

J&P thanks for the advice.I am a wuss I think because I have a hard time listening to Christain music.

I was kinda born with rythym! LOL!

Sabrina the fesival was awesome. It was at this beautiful Greek Orthodox Church. The building was just absolutely beatutiful.Inside every wall and the high domes ceiling was cover in murals. Old and NT depictions of events.Stained glass everywhere.I had to hold back tears so people wouldnt think I was a weirdo.Thats how stunning it was.

I picked the brains of young Father Gregory the priest.LOL! I held him captive for about 30 minutes!

He explained to me about Hades and how God is light. And more.I wanted to put him in my purse and bring him home with me.:)

And there was music and dancing outside in these pretty courtyards. We ate dolmas, hummis, eggplant, spinach pie, gyros, and a baklava sundae.

I got a wooden plaque that has a couple of cherobs huddled together.

Anyway Im thinking of going back for another look.;)

See ya!

Blessings

That sounds beautiful, Dallas; I can picture it because when I was a child our family was stationed in Italy and the thing I remember the most were the churches and how holy and awesome they were and the ART!!!

And, waitaminute, girl, I grew up listening to jazz, old C & W, hard classic rock, and bluesy blues, and I have found all that and more just with Godly lyrics; try Todd Agnew, Jars of Clay, Kutless, Third Day, POD, Toby Mac, Switchfoot, Kirk Franklin; all great tunes, and more....
Go check out the Contemporary Christian threads here.
You will be pleasantly surprised, my friend.
Lots of rhythm....and R & B.!!
