Work's been a busy nightmare. :sigh:

BUT, I have the kids this weekend, and that always puts me in a good mood

How's things hangin' with you?

Paul (MSGP)

Well nothings hanging last time I checked its sort of compact! LOL!! Just kidden.

Aww so you have all the kiddos? If so you are braver than I sir.

Are ya'll doing fun stuff? You know board games are awesome with music in the background with some eating in the den aloud.:)

Anyway besides the fact Im "compact" things are looking bright for me MSGP. Im not fighting with my 16 year old son now. I was able to get over myself and realize they say things like "I cant stand you".(roll eyes). LOL!

And tomorrow we are going to a Greek festival.Taste all the differnet foods and see what it is Greek people do.LOL!!! One of the benefits of living in Dallas.A melting pot of culture. (maybe we will eat some lamb!)

Enjoy!

Blessings

He wants the same thing that you want. He wants to be loved. He wants to be known as only lovers can know each other. He wants intimacy with you. Yes, yes, he wants your obedience but only when it flows out of a heart filled with love for him. “Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me” (John 14:21). Following hard after Jesus is the heart’s natural response when it has been captured and fallen deeply in love with him.

Reading George MacDonald several years ago, I came across an astounding thought. You’ve probably heard that there is in every human heart a place that God alone can fill. (Lord knows we’ve tried to fill it with everything else, to our utter dismay.) But what the old poet was saying was that there is also in God’s heart a place that you alone can fill. “It follows that there is also a chamber in God himself, into which none can enter but the one, the individual.” You. You are meant to fill a place in the heart of God no one and nothing else can fill. Whoa. He longs for you.

God wants to live this life together with you, to share in your days and decisions, your desires and disappointments. He wants intimacy with you in the midst of the madness and mundane, the meetings and memos, the laundry and lists, the carpools and conversations and projects and pain. He wants to pour his love into your heart and he longs to have you pour yours into his. He wants your deep heart; that center place within that is the truest you.

John 5:17, 19-20 My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I, too, am working. I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does. For the Father loves the Son and shows him all he does. Yes, to your amazement he will show him even greater things than these.

God is always at work.
Where did you see God at work this week?

When you study the Scriptures, look to see how God works through His Word. When you learn how He has worked throughout history, you can depend on His working in a similar way with you. Every experience that we have must be controlled and understood by the Scriptures.

He called Peter, Andrew, James, John, Matthew, Paul - to name just a few - without giving them much about what they would be doing, and/or where they would be going.

Asking what is God's will for my life is not the right question. Ask - what is God's will? Once I know God's will, then I can adjust my life to Him. Once I know what God is doing, then I know what I need to do. The focus needs to be on God, not my life!

Watch to see where God is working - and join Him!

I agree with all that you have shared - except the sin part - so I am sure God is about to reveal that to me!!! LOL!

TW,

God wants us to just want to be with Him. I mean prayer for others, asking for ourselves......thanks and praise when we are happy.....

But He would like to just hang out. Litterall for no other reason than Hey dude....how are ya!

He likes company. Who likes to be ignored? He wants us to be His friends.Kinda like we want our kids to talk to us.Not just ask for a ride or for some money.

Just a thought.

Blessings
