Hey TW!
I've been a lurker for the last couple of months. I've tried to keep up with everyone, but I must admit that time is short and so is my memory!
Life is moving quickly as I divide my time between work, orchestra and working out. The last being the most recent addition. It seems that each of those three areas have required more and more of my time, and somehow through the grace of God, I am able to meet those obligations.
We just received our Christmas music for orchestra, so now the big push is on for us to learn a "boatload" (that's the highly technical term for it) of music before the second weekend in December. The pieces are not easy, either.
I've been at my new job for 5 months, and I love it. I do have some down time, but for the most part, they keep me busy...AND they realize I have a good brain in my head. What a concept!
There are going to be many opportunities in this company as I continue to gain a better understanding of how it all works.
I continue to stand for the restoration of my marriage. That hasn't changed. Most of the time, I am doing fine, but I still have an occasional bad day and down moods. I am so thankful that the Lord loves me like He does. It's been a long, hard road, but I know without a doubt this is what I have been called to do.
That's the latest on me...

Hey Mary!
I play flute and have since I was in fifth grade (a LONG time ago!). Our church is doing a singing Christmas tree with full choir and orchestra. There will be a litle bit of drama with the characters of Mary and Joseph and of course, baby Jesus. I'm not sure how it's all going to come together, but it always does.
How is the sleep situation with the dogs? Did that get resolved?

I put a fan on in my room now so if the other dog is barking I don't hear it now!
I haven't been sleeping otherwise though. I don't know if it is my shoulder bothering me or what is keeping from sleeping.
It is making me miserable though.
How's that for a Friday afternoon happy dance???! LOL!
My church did a singing Christmas tree once like you described. I was kind of scared for those people that were seated at the top. I think they were kind of scared too!

The spot at the top of the singing Christmas tree is the coveted spot. I'm afraid of heights, so I certainly wouldn't want to be up there. Makes me glad that I'm going to be seated on the floor with the rest of the orchestra.
Mary, I'm glad that you have come up with a little bit of a solution where the dog is concerned, but I will be praying that the pain in your will subside so that you are able to get a decent night's rest.

Hey, Cat, I just didn't see this last post from you until now. Boy, am I slow or what?
I was just worn out yesterday, what with my van in the shop, doing a lot of walking places or bumming rides, or borrowing wheels.
I am so blessed right now anyway, that all that does not bother me so much; just inconvenient for everyone.
I am so happy with what the Lord did in my life by bringing me a wonderful Christian man and his kids to be friends with!!!!

Our church does a Christmas program but uses recorded music, but a big choir. The choir began meeting either in late August or September. Every Sunday. To me that is ridiculous (4 months prepping), but to the people involved, that must be a thing they like. Your orchestra sounds like a great addition for 'glorification'.

I took TWO tylenol PM, turned the fan on and went to sleep at about 11:30 last night. I just woke up at 1:15. 
I still feel a little drugged but that will wear off.
What a difference a night's rest can make.

What a light weight! I have a prescription tranquilizer(for when I feel like a primate) and it still takes me hours to fall asleep and I still wakek up a couple times a night.but I still get the nasty drowsiness the next day.
Anyway Im so happy you are getting some sleep.However you get it.

You mean Jess? Yeah I dont even know her.(yet) I saw when she joined she posted a hello over on the "things that just dont fit" LOL! Maybe she thinks she dont fit or maybe she didnt look hard enough for the intro thread.
