Yeah, that'll be a hoot...

You sound like you're in good hands with your doctor. I'm so glad for that. You probably already know this, but I have "issues" with the quality of medical care that women receive sometimes.

So, I'm off to bed. Big day tomorrow. 'Nite, all.

I'm glad to see you posting again sis...

Ok - I saw my neighbors were in their backyard so I just went and asked them if I could speak to them for a moment. I told them about the dog barking again last night. They just looked at me like "so what?". I asked if there was anything they could do to help me out and pointed at how close the dog was to my bedroom window when he barked.

They said well you know you had a kid staying with you that played the drums one weekend all night long under your carport and we didn't say anything. I said - he was playing at night time? He said one weekend when you were away - he did it all night and day. I said - I'm sorry, I didn't know that - if you had told me I would have corrected it. (This was over a year ago that my nephew lived with me). Then he said - we are moving in 30 days you shouldn't have too much longer to worry about it.

Kind of like - just deal with it for 30 more days.

I feel like crying at their attitude. Hurt my feelings.

All right! That changes my attitude. You tell them to go take a long walk of a short bridge!

And start calling 911 evertime that canine keeps you up

I'm sitting here crying because some strangers hurt my feelings about a stupid dog! They were just so mean and cold.

I'm tired (lack of sleep), just came from PT and my shoulder hurts and this just all isn't fun right now. Going to take a bath. Crying in the tub - why not? Sometimes it helps.

Through the last couple of years I've left several notes on their front door asking them nicely to control the dog's barking. This wasn't news to them. He said - WE don't hear the dog barking! Their bedrooms are on the other side of their house!

OH GOOD GRIEF!

This is going to sound weird (because it is and I am), but I'd sit at the window and bark back at the dog.

If you can't lick 'em (no pun intended), join 'em. Besides, it'll really tweak the neighbors. And you have only a month to go.

And put a fan in your room, on high - it helps even out the noise.

Yeah or put a jam box in an open window that plays her favorite music ALL NIGHT LONG on high.

If they complain say "well your moving in 30 days so its not that much longer".:)

That attitude of theirs stinks....pray for them, I guess.

You are so sweet, I wish you were my neighbor.

As I was sitting the tub and bawling - and I was - like a big baby - I was thinking that if this hadn't of happened, I probably wouldn't even be aware that they were moving. I am not a very observant person. They said they haven't sold their house yet but even so they said they will be moving in 30 days.

If this hadn't of happened I wouldn't be expecting new neighbors! Maybe God is bringing me a nice lady friend right next door, or a nice family, or heck even a nice male friend! Who knows?

What I do know is that I'm not going to let this opportunity to really get to know my next neighbors pass me by this time.

I was happy to find God at work in this situation!!!!!!!

Great thinking J&P!! And I don't blame you one bit for crying. I'm sure the whole thing is frustrating and their attitude hurts! But isn't it wonderful that you might have a nice new relationship to nurture??

Read on to the next post for a chuckle...it's about you know who.

Well, the headache finally left about dinner time and my pressure was all the way down. Praise God!! And it's still good. I was in the process of checking it and saying goodnight to hubby (not at the same time) when my crazy mother called....

"CIN! Where are you???? BYE!!!"

What the heck??? So when I finish, I dial her house. Busy. I dial again. Busy. I wait. I dial. Busy. Now, I have a little bit of shades of my dad's death or my uncle's accident running through my head, which is what makes this so precious!

I dial my sister's. No answer. I dial my mom again. Busy. C'mon already!!!

I dial again. She answers. LOL. I say, "What happened?? I was checking my pressure and I called you right back and it's been busy!!"

"Oh. Well. I've been on the phone with EVERYBODY!!! You have to vote......do you watch Dancing with the Stars????"

Um, no.

"Oh. Well. You have to vote for Mario! You have to call. Or you have to go online. I tried to do it online but he doesn't have it set up yet bc he's not talking to me. So you need to do it."
(all said in one big long run-on word that I couldn't type that way or J&P would never get it! :p ;) )

I'm laughing at her!

Ok, Mom. Do I just go to www.dancingwiththestars???

"No, go to www.abc.com. That's all they said. I guess you do it there. Do it and then call me back!!......Oh, and how's your blood pressure?"

HONESTLY!!! She's nuts!! I love it!! LOL

Oh, and when I called her back to tell her I voted for him all eight times, she squealed like a teenager!!!
