Inevitably when the topic of GOD comes up right behind it comes tragedy and the never ending question “why?”

Now most people are familiar with the popular Christian response “GOD works in mysterious ways.” Now this response is far inadequate for the analytical mind but for all reading this you should know that “GOD works in mysterious ways.” is a PC phrase intended to sidestep a grieving person. When someone has experienced a tragedy the last thing they want to hear is someone rattling off all the real possible reasons for the occurrence because in the face of tragedy Christians are often cautious and intentionally avoid listing reasons that would make GOD appear coldly shrewd and uncaring. But since the question continues I will throw caution in the wind and rattle of just a few cold reality reasons to cause or allow tragedies. And trust me if you were GOD with the same objectives you would do the same things.

First “tragedies” is far too vague of a word. What do you mean by tragedies? Pain, death, fear, that debilitating feeling of helpless hopelessness that petrifies and incapacitates when you find out some bad, bad thing happened to a loved one?

So let’s break them down
Why would GOD create or allow…
Pain= simple enough. Pain is a response to conditions unfavorable to the well being of oneself. In other words pain is practical programmed responses to let the conscience of a created living being know something’s wrong when they might otherwise be unaware. The existence of pain promotes caution and signals the creature that a change is needed.

Death=easy one. Practical population control. Encourages humility. Encourages spiritual reflection and the never ending question of where are we headed. (no wonder GOD never answers this question directly. The question itself works positively in the human mind.)
Also death serves as a practical removal of persons in this world (good and bad).

Fear=practical programmed response to a perceived threat to allow a created living being to recognize danger and avoid it before the danger becomes pain and or death. Very useful emotional program with highly practical purposes.

That bad, bad feeling you get when something unfavorable happens to a loved one= Encourages the question why which ultimately leads the human mind to moral questioning such as “what did I do? Or what didn’t I do?” (Again the unanswered question often produces favorable results.) Encourages empathy not only from the person experiencing it but also those around them. (Its hard to hate someone whose kid just died in a car wreck. Sad but true practical purpose.) Encourages proactive responsibility, such as women whose kids die from drunk drivers form groups to stop drunk drivers therefore saving many other lives. The strength of the bad, bad, emotion is feared by companies so they pay attention to the safety of their product designs therefore saving more lives. Exc…exc….

So you see. If I came up with a few you know GOD has a bunch of good reasons to cause or allow tragedy.

{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{

Some will say it’s not fair to cause tragedies things to occur for your own purposes.

First of all it’s absolutely fair even if GOD creates people to torture them for all eternity. GOD made all and it’s fair for him to do what ever he wants.

Second…. People have a strange sense of justice. They like to ignore all the good things they enjoy and focus only on what they want and don’t want to happen. Let me illustrate.

A thirty five year old woman and her seven year old son died in a car crash. Most would consider this a tragedy and maybe this is but when you begin to imply that it is not fair you get way out of line. Remember GOD gave them everything they experience pleasure with. Eyes, ears, nose, tongues, skin, and everything else that gives them pleasure. The people around them in which they enjoy companionship and love, the environment (breezes, flowers pretty things) , and emotions such as love, joy, hope that they enjoyed on a daily basis. Now consider the woman’s son. Seven years old. But for six years and three hundred and sixty four days the boy enjoyed life and everything that comes along with it. And at the end the boy experienced a couple days of fear, pain and ultimately death. As for the woman, she got an even better deal. She enjoyed thirty four years and three hundred and sixty four days of life and everything that comes with it only to pay a couple days of fear, pain and death. (If the car crash was quick it was only moments.) Now if someone came to me and said I’m willing to give you twenty years of life along with every pleasure that goes along with life and at the end of twenty years you have to endure six moths of cancer and die I would take the deal in a minute. Twenty years for six moths. Good deal. Hell, childhood alone is worth a death. I’d take it in a second because it’s a good deal.

Even a life of one day is a good because GOD gave it for free. No one earned the right to come into this world and enjoy all the things in it.

But people don’t see things that way. They only see what they want and don’t have. But when you say it’s not right you show you have a warped sense of justice and fair dealing.

you should think more of faith, that way you wont write something that probably hurts someone... i mean when it can hurt, you should know that you dont need to do it... and in faith if you just take the reverse of those bads, there is forever goods there and due to the belief of world without end, they will always be there.. why wouldnt you write the good stuff? trying to be a part of the darkness your not that good at... there isnt really anyone good at that actually.. cause its all bad... i mean sure you think that God doesnt do what He can, well He made Heaven and there everyone that is ever killed from anything, (all the killing is from the evil one(in some way or another)) is allowed to be, they are even lucky to go there as soon as possible... its not a reason to die, just that those that go in their own path, you know the path is all in faith, and risen into only good, so when a car acciedent happens, why not rejoice for your faith in Heaven and Trust in God, for those who walk on from here, their next steps are in eternity of good forever... sure all of us cant see that, but we are suposta believe, the saving part well as God could make a stone into a son of Abraham, Jesus could save anyone not matter how bad... so all you gotta do is trust, in the Lord, He doesnt want us to be overcome by evil but how is He suposta actually get the thorns from the wheat? for one is just not ever going to be good, and one is forever His To Forever be better... we are the wheat, does that just say that we are food for God? no, it says that in this great world there are those born for 2 reasons the first good and who cares about the bad? its not that they wont be tried to be saved, its just they wont even accept Him Saving them.. and would probably fight... dont fight, if you dont then you will be able to be saved! i mean sure its hard to see with so little faith, anything better than this reality, but there truly is... and thats Heaven, which God made. So trust in God, you think that all the good purly, no bad, all the good purly is in its best? well then think of this, we are but with the cornerstone, the one that sits on the ground even the one that the builder uses to see where everything will be, for the building that is going to be forever tall! not that Jesus isnt the first and the last, He is both the littlest and the best of all of us.. forever will be too.. its just you gotta stay with the building, what that means is you gotta know God, He loves more than anyone, even the family that loss someone, He loves whoever is lost more than all of our love combined, knowing Him is going to get you to a higher ground... maybe even to be within the whole church, as the building is. then you will be doing what God wants to do, and will be in all your good making God able to do that too... you not only free good on this world, but you give God, through you, all there is of good, to be Made BY HIM.. the thing is we dont even know when we are within, we are still so small and the building, well its up, just in the future or something, so it will stay, and well us trying to do good, staying pure and in faith, thats how we are sometime within, the church, who is the only one (all together (all of us faithful)) that is good enough for Jesus to have, for Himself... cause He is God's Son and More, He is the shepherd and does all He can do to keep everyone from getting hurt, you know a real shepherd they watch the flock, even in the mythology of the same they dont eat even... well Jesus watches the largest flock of all we know.. even in the highest He knows... He is God's Lamb, and the salvation of any from where there is, to being in the highest best good possible, to the ever greatering higher, for Jesus doesnt stop.. once your saved you will know for you will be as an angel.. or at least within the church... and then perhaps it seems its just some place to go to, for who knows why, but actually God is there, you have to have knowledge of Him, then you can know more and more of what He is really doing... why would God have to do anything with the bad? He truly made all why not just stay with the good? because of His Love He even saves in great miracles... does everyone get a miracle, yea in Heaven every day... but here we dont even hardly pray always, but in Heaven we do, and here our praises arent with the best words, but in Heaven we know them all, and here we cant even love the greatest cause of our little faith, but in Heaven we are rewarded with faith first... from then on all is only good, no matter if you loose stuff or its forever the best, cause in faith all is truly good for God, and God even does all... faith is important, i think if you really had a love for God, you would write something good not bad... thats what He always sees, and loves you for too... so think of that rather than trying to change people to not see the (light... which is both very little and the most...)

Ok......First of all "I love GOD"....I just want to get that out to anyone who might misunderstand my post.

This original post was to point out that there is a logical reason for GOD to do everything that he does. You just have to look for it.

Also....that reason might to you be shrewd or calculating but it is up to GOD to rule...not us.

To anyone keeping track....most of my posts are directed to the atheist objections to the Christian faith so if they seem weird to you or unorthodox it is because you are Christian and you don't see things from their point of view. Therefore my posts will seem strange to you. But believe me when I say this that I am 100% Christian and everything that I post is for the express purpose of strengthening the Christian faith and adding to it's numbers.

You call yourself a Christian?
Death to begin with is not normal. Death came about as a result of the fall of man. It is the curse God put upon man for being disobedient to Him after He gave life to Adam and Eve and everything imaginable in the Earth.
Secondly, when something tragic occurs, it usually because that person has been waling incorrectly in his faith bringing about punishment and God will allow a tragedy to give that person a chance to take the tragedy and strengthen from it.
And thirdly God must test and put His children back in line when they are doing something wrong. If they fail the test, they are to be chastized, if they pass the test they are stronger for it.
