The Kingdom is a culture contrary to the self-serving culture of man, our culture based on oppression or as Peterson says, tyranny. All based on not following the second commandment of Jesus. Most have to confront their human nature in order to reject it and pass through the looking glass.
I might add... most refuse, their survival instinct too strong to remain anything but feral. Some even using God rather than following Him, to self justify their way around the rejection, creating the ugly half of religion..
