  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I've been looking for apologetic sites that support that the Hebrews were in Egypt as slaves (many say that they were not), and I thought I would look at www.jewsforjesus.org; I did not find anything, however, they had this track about the Mel Gibson film. As far as the Exodus goes, if Jesus believed it and it's scripture, then it's good enough for me. Someone (Diane Salyer?) asked Mel Gibson if he believed all the bible, and he said, "Yes . . . I believe all of it or none of it":clap:

Jeremiah 6.16
This is what the LORD says:

"Stand at the crossroads and look;
ask for the ancient paths,
ask where the good way is, and walk in it,
and you will find rest for your souls."

Yes, always an excellent verse.

Dereck HaShem (sometimes spelled Derech)
Derech HaShem means "the path of G-d" or "the way of G-d" in Hebrew. It's a phrase I thought you might find interesting.
