  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

A MOTHER’S TEARS

Where did the seed fall? When will it come forth? Did His mercy not give root, or did the soil reject another fleeting moment? For this I’ve often pondered...

Ecclesiastes 11:6
In the morning sow your seed, And in the evening do not withhold your hand; For you do not know which will prosper, Either this or that, Or whether both alike will be good.

Sometimes those seeds need a little help, and for some it may take a little longer than others. But always remember to keep the FAITH, keep the HOPE, keep the LOVE, and don’t forget PATIENCE, because only the Lord of the harvest knows which ones will bear fruit. The Master Gardener also knows the perfect time, and He hears the prayers of those who sow with tears. And through the power of the Son’s light, He can make it grow! Sometimes apart from our understanding, and not always in the season that we see fit, but still our perfect Father cares for those who water and wait. Waiting and hoping that His Word will take root. Keep praying, keep watering, and do not lose heart in the power of the Son! For such is the testimony of one stubborn seed!

As I would often stagger through the front door in the middle of the night, I knew something was afoot. There was a disturbance in the darkness as the light of the Son would often peek through. I heard the sound of weeping, I heard the sound of whispers, but to my own shame I just walked on by. But there in the darkness, after another drunken binge, was a loving mother on her knees in the living room watering with tears of faith! Greeted only by a deafening silence, she would say nothing as I passed on by, but just kept praying and weeping for her son! How could you ever repay that kind of love?? How could I ever thank her enough for those tears of faith?? This I cannot do, but before she passed, I thanked her for those prayers! And I will thank her again someday when we meet on that beautiful shore!!

Grace and peace to all you mothers shining the light of the Son, and watering with tears of faith! I can testify that those prayers do not fall on deaf ears!! He hears the prayers of all those who call upon His name! Some will sow, and some will reap, but it’s God who gives the increase!!

1 Corinthians 3:6
I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase

John 4:36
And he who reaps receives wages, and gathers fruit for eternal life, that both he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together.

Psalm 126:6
He who continually goes forth weeping, Bearing seed for sowing, Shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, Bringing his sheaves with him.

Grace and Peace...
