Yep, my EDD is 10/24 so a month away. Funny enough first there was worry I wouldn't be pregnant long enough, now I'm reading all about "induction options".

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hm, I wish I was that close...kinda. I don't mind giving Natalie an extra couple months to grow and change though.

LOL! Linnis-- I always thought that pregnancy had to be soooooo hard, especially at the very end - so that women would actually be joyful when labor started! How else would someone be psyched about enduring such pain and hard work ??

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking, I just want my feet not to hurt. Next time I'm going to hope I'll have a December-February baby, I want my entire last trimester in the cold, I'm Sooooo hot.
My BIL told my husband that him and his ex-wife had sex when she didn't want to be pregnant anymore.
I'm not "full-term" until 37 weeks but I am really thinking, bring on the spicy food!

Just try to remember that each day longer inside you--the stronger and healthier your little boy will be. It is tempting to self induce at 37 weeks....but remember that, especially with boys those extra weeks inside help him to pack on weight. The final month is when they add brown fat by leaps and bounds.

Don't worry I wouldn't do anything my doctor is against. I did ask him about it today and he says we have to wait and see...with my risk of bleeding still being a possibility we have to considering induction at 38 weeks and I would like to avoid pitocin.

I think I was 38 or 39 weeks when I started trying the home remedies. I used EPO (started out orally and then switched to poking a hole in the capsule and inserting vaginally), drank RRL tea, ate pineapple, ate spicy food, had sex, walked around a lot...
But in the end your body just has to be ready. I tried all that and still ended up being induced.
