A misled follower?

I was watching a video where a man said that accepting Jesus as lord and savior into hearts is not how we are saved and become christians. Rather he said that a man must be reborn through being baptized in Jesus name.

The video in question. I'm not sure if he is misguided.

A while longer?? It is right there in front of you in the cited scriptures. That is what we Christians need to comprehend. All these additions, subtractions, denominations, points of view, collapse when one realizes how simple and straightforward God has planted the Truth of salvation for eternity right there in those two scriptures. Read John 14:6, John 3:16-17, John 5:24, Ephesians 2:8-9. Those are NOW scriptures. We wait not for any further revelation!

I understand that just by acknowledging that he died for our sins and that he was resurrected is not the only thing we must do but turn our backs on sin and live our lives through complete trust in Christ.

There's many things JESUS said Himself that you apparently avoid.

That is why it may be a while,
not because anyone has to wait if they already accept what Jesus Himself says,
but if they do not accept Jesus' Word, they have to wait, for they cannot call Him Lord honestly if He is not Lord.
