  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The most precious thing I have is a cross necklace my Mom recently gave to me ~ she received it from her 2 aunts on her confirmation when she was 13.

I don't care what kind of money anyone offered me ~ there is no possibility I would part with this. I'm honored to be able to wear it...

my most precious possession i have is my standing as a daughter of the Most High. I'd never part with it, although bringing His Light into the darkness this world is entrenched in, and shining His truth, that He is our Abba, Who rejoices over us with singing, is sorely needed....that our Abba loves us and that He truly does have a hope and a future for each of us...that when we surrender our wills to Him, through Jesus the Christ, He can then move in our lives, and we become who He planned for us since before the foundation of the world.
