You've been thinking about this for a long time. You're dealing with something but you don't know what to do. You've lost all hope. But you've also seen some Christians that seem to have a peace and joy that can't be explained and you want that. Want it bad. You want to fill that emptiness.
Perhaps this is your day to discover what it is you're missing. Jesus is calling you, He's been trying to get your attention for a long time. You want to believe so bad, but you want proof. Well, Jesus says "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
Ok, you're ready to accept Him, but something is holding you back, something someone said, someone did, you doubt. But the good news is that if you can just get past this and have Faith in Jesus, you will be changed forever. Come, let's pray the Prayer of Salvation, pray it out loud, believe with all your heart, soul and mind that the words mean something, that this is for real and prepare to experience a life changing moment. Now, wait a minute. You've said the prayer but you don't feel any different, what happened or what didn't happen? Well, it's not about feelings, but faith. You said it, you meant it and now God is starting to work with you. For some they experience the peace and joy and are flooded with a love they've never experienced before. For others it'll be a gradual thing. Don't give up. God has heard your prayer and He will answer it. Be assured you are Saved. Now go share it with someone else, let them know what you have done. Be confident, be assured, be blessed.
Get yourself a Holy Bible if you don't have one, consider attending a Church so you can further your knowledge and understanding of Him, to worship Him and thank Him for this new found life you have, to have fellowship with other like minded Christians. And don't forget to pray. For God so loves a praying Christian and He does answer prayers.
