(the times even followed up with an article talking about how so many athletes copying the dance is "deeply alarming")

This is deeply troubling stuff, guys.

It's a symptom of the radicalization that's happening in America.

Viewer discretion advised, the following could be troubling to some viewers (and it's advised that if you have any small children, you have them leave the room)

This dance, that many say is just as bad as a Nazi salute, being emulated by athletes is like January 6th (which was the deadliest day of all days) all over again.

Like the NY Times articles said, these professional athletes are leaders, and they need to think about the impact of their actions.

I know we'll all treat this topic with the seriousness it deserves, as it's a matter of life and death. ;)

When he initially did that dance, it was to a Village People song... clearly, he, and everyone else with cis-hetero male privilege, who copies the dance, are trying to erase the existence of gay people.

When Jon "Bones" Jones from the UFC (which, that nickname is already offensive, because it could be triggering to two-spirit indigenous peoples with skeletal deformities) did that dance after winning, it was basically a gay genocide.

I just can't get over it... When I locked myself in my bathroom earlier to have a scream session (with cell phone recording so I could upload it to TikTok), 3 of my 11 cats (2 of which are asexual/polyamorous) got really frightened by my screams.

He dances like my dad

As a woman that getting a bit older myself he definitely has the old man dance down pat, but it's totally cute.

My husband has his own old man dance that totally cracks me up.

With my disability, belly dancing is no longer in the cards, but I can definitely hang with the old man dance for a couple minutes... Lol.

I love it that the athletes are doing it too. It makes me happy to see people just being happy and cute at every age.

We have a lot to be thankful for, and we can all do a happy dance after praising God. :)

The dance has been described as simulation of something that cannot be mentioned on these forums. :D

Suffice it to say it's very, very funny.

I think there are a lot of mole hills being made into mountains IMO .... Trump is not a Nazi ... using this term is political mud slinging that goes on all the time by both parties. To categorize a person or treat them differently because of their political views is ridiculous IMO, but people are free to speak and act as they like ... which may or may not have an effect of their decision to do so (effecting their business and/or organization) in either a positive or negative way. It's politics as usual.
