This is typical of Calvinists. WE KNOW that it isn't saying XYZ because that would prove Calvinism to be false, so it must be saying ABC, even though it clearly says XYZ.

Work out your salvation with fear and trembling means once your saved, give God the reverence he deserves.

One cannot lose their salvation, he is sealed with the Holy Spirit, as a down payment for the inheritance to come.

Does this verse apply to in this life that we are living now or do we only reap on judgement day?
