I try to walk in forgiveness always and sometimes I think I'm dong a pretty good job when
WHAM outta no where comes some thought of "Oh I can't wait til they get theres" Whoa where did that come from??? It came from the root... we as Christians are good about going through emotions or lip service and saying Jesus help me forgive. But when the devil comes along and reminds us of wrongs done to us it stirs up emotions and we wonder did we forgive or I did forgive that why do I still have hard
feelings towards those that have wronged me?
This was the answer....in our inner man we have a garden and in that garden we have fruit of what ever has been sown in our life. The word springing up to life and life of abundance and weeds that the devil plants by circumstances and situations.
When we say we forgive and we think we have; we take a hoe and cut the weed off at the ground...but after time because the root of bitterness remains, the weed begins to grow again...the only way to get the weed out of our garden is to cut it out at the root or curse it at the root.(as Jesus did the fig tree)
Below are steps we can take to insure that we get the roots or weeds of unforgiveness out for good.
1) Hate is a very strong emotion and God hates evil....to be like God we also should hate the devil and all his works.
Psa 97:10 Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.
Pro 8:13 The fear of the LORD [is] to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.
2) Cancel the debt of your offenders (the people)
Act 7:60 And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.
3) Agree with Jesus.
Mar 11:25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
People are hammers, in a since, they are tools used by some spiritual force of God as carpenters
or of satan as destroyers.
People are the tool. It's not thepeople who wronged you they were just being a tool used by the wrong
spiritual force.
Jesus said in John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have [it] more abundantly.
So we know them by their fruits....even Christians can hurt us..they just had a moment of yielding to the wrong spiritual force.
I want the abundant life...and I want my faith to work for my needs and others...in order to do that we need to weed our gardens of all roots of unforgivenss and bitterness.
Jesus called us to walk in love...Jesus also tells us to love God with all that's in us and to love our neighbor as ourselves. Even our enemies....
Mat 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
Luk 6:27 But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you,
If we can't love those we can see how can we love God whom we haven't seen...
Faith works by love and without faith you can't please God because He says the just shall live by faith.
So if faith is so important then so is love otherwise our faith won't work and God won't be pleased.
That's why we have to forgive and walk in love.

It must be very important then.
