Jeez, I'm not saying everything man does is bad, but you are quite unwise EDITED BY MODERATOR to take everything said as fact from someone with a few lertters after their name. See, it is your characterization of them as imbeciles that is the problem. This is just not the case. Those letters after a name mean that they have studied hard and proved to someone that they are NOT an imbecile. You can not accept all the myriad benefits human knowledge, ingenuity and investigation has given you and then turn around and say it all can not be trusted. It makes no sense, as you take the medicine these imbeciles make for you, submit to the surgical procedure that some idiotic scientist has made possible, accept EVERY single proposition of science OTHER than those which contradict your reading of Scripture, to then claim that scientific knowledge is just a bunch of guesswork and mumbo-jumbo.

All those passages having to do with wisdom has to do with morality and faith; ie: those who think they know it all about good, evil, morality, etc, are foolish. It has nothing to do with secular-based knowledge the the natural and social sciences.

Sorry I'm not that in awe of man's meager accomplishments. Yeah, we invented the refrigerator, but we also invented the nuclear bomb. I'm sure the first person to invent a meth lab was pretty clever as well.

It is not the magnitude of the accomplishments but the fact that we can make accomplishments at all. A refrigerator couldn't work if ignorant scientists couldn't figure things out because they were blinded by pride. It wasn't stumbled upon by trial and error but by taking the knowledge of thermodynamics and applying it.
