In John 14:18 Jesus said to His Disciples, "Because I live, you also will live. In that day you will know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you."
Was our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ telling us all that, in the day we realize His Path AND FOLLOW IT, we are His Father's gift to Himself ? Think about this, please. Was He saying that our purpose on this Earth is not for us to prepare for Heaven but, rather, for doing Jesus Work, whether it is easy or not?
So, I ask the question up front, OK? "Are YOU living for Him as though you are a person who is set apart from almost all of the rest of the world?" For you are JUST THAT when you live His Way. THIS uniqueness is often not so easy, but that's the very plight of anyone who seeks to triumph over their own "self" within their own self-gratification/glorification attempts. THESE people, probably YOU who read this, are the living stone in God's Church. And HIS church is everywhere, ANY where there are two or more Believers who get together in HIS Name ................. THIS is of divine significance for you, for ALL of us who ACT like Believers, do you see?
We have a divine appointment EACH time we meet another person, and do you know why? Because our Father in Heaven is in control of EVERY moment and each moment is intended to be unique IN HIM. And I am positive, beyond a shadow of a human doubt, that we are responsible for sharing God and His Word with others, whether it's difficult or not.

Less than a year ago my wife and I drove our two vehicles East, pulling behind us each a 5 X 8 foot trailer. We were headed for a divine appointment somewhere on the East Coast, between right there in the house which we had just sold in Iowa, and whomever we happened to meet down the highways and interstates we traveled on. And we might have been looking just for YOU, OK?
The point of this post is, "Are YOU looking for someone to share Jesus' Good News with?" Are you? Or are you going to miss Jesus' Work that He has in His mind for you? This is SO important for each of us to ponder and act upon, don't you think? Really, now .......... do you think that YOU are directly in His Plan or not ?

Dear God; this is Tommy talking to you again, as I usually do each day. You know it's me but I like to tell you who I am, anyway. I want to KNOW that I know that You know me. I want to hear myself speak to You. I want to be reminded EACH day what my job here really is on this jumbled up planet. YOU'RE in control, not me, and I have to remind myself of this every day, Lord, because I am so forgetful in the business of my life. Please Lord, if it is Your Will, help the person reading this to remember You daily, also, OK? Thank You SO much for Your help and love for us. In Jesus Name I pray this.

Jesus is IN you and YOU are in HIM. Pretty hard to fathom, huh? But that's God for you. He IS for you, and He has given us our Savior, the Christ, the Risen One. And Jesus died for us so that He could earn us as His Own, and then present us to His Father one Glorious Day. It just doesn't GET any better than that, right? I surely don't think so.
I pray, my Friend, that you have chosen Him as your Savior. If you have, then THAT makes you eternally unique, like a living stone. Can you picture that, being a living stone? And the stone, YOU, is cemented TIGHTLY into the structure called God's Church .......... and this Church is wherever and WHEN ever we gather together to worship and study and pray in His Name.
There have been short breaks now and then in my posting here, but there WILL NEVER be even a second break in God's watching over me and you. He wants us dearly to be with Him, and you really, really need to know that and affirm it in your heart and mind EACH day, OK?
Here is my affirmation about this, which I gleaned it from the prayer of God's People (near the end of the book of Exodus) right after they were rescued from the Egyptians at the parting of the Red Sea:
"I sing to You, God, for You are my Strength and my Song.
You ARE my Savior and my God, and I will daily praise You EVERY day!
You are my fathers' God and I will exalt You!
Your Name is, THE LORD !!
Your Greatness WILL overthrow my adversary, the devil,
for who else on Earth is greater than You, Lord!?
You are Majesty in Holiness!
I know that You will guide me so that
I will not fall in my sinfulness,
and that You will bring me Home to You !!"
