Having read many of the posts on this part of forum i am pleased to say you have all helped me, i have suffered from obsessive thourght
for many years and have called it many things " depression, Anxiety ,or just plain fear but reading your post i can see i have many of the characteristics that you all share.
I find that my faith (or maybe just my feelings about god) has high spots and real low spots, and also find it really difficult to feel at peace with god because sometimes i just feel i,m not acceptable which of course is not true.
Small problems are soon made large by me and of course are always my fault, the lord is moving me out of these ways slowly but it takes time and patience, which is not always easy for me either.
The words from this song have been a great comfort to me
