A little prayer request

Not a heavy duty request, but still I feel the need for prayer. Introductions are being made between myself and a gentleman from my single's group. I'm awaiting a response from him to an email I sent this evening. He caught my eye 9 months ago, but we never talked much. I was being courted by someone else for two months and then he broke my heart 3 months ago. My heart was healed two weeks ago and I'm ready to see if there is potential with this gentleman.

I have not received a response from this man which is out of character for him not to give a response one way or the other. It's hard not to make assumptions about the silence. There could be valid reasons-he's sick, out of town, spam filter, work problems. It's hard to know when I should ask the pastor if he received my email. This is making it hard for me to get my work done. It's making me a bit sad.

Lord, make the decisions for you, you alone know whats best for her. Give her the grace to know this and to be patient as you lead her. Touch his heart to put you first in everything and let this relationship bring glory to you in Jesus name.

Give her the grace not to expect too much from him but to put her hopes in you and you will surely satisfy her. Amen.
