I like to study prophecy. That's my thing. I am often in Mt 24, Mk 13 & Lk 21as it often brings new light. The figtree parable carries us into Rev 6 at the time after the 6th seal, which falls before the 7th and the Second Advent . Last night, some new things were being shown that I thought I would share.
Mk 13- Now learn A parable (which all 3, being the same event, all bring different light) of the figtree. When HER branch is yet (still) tender AND putter forth leaves (which we have learned that on a figtree, fruit comes THEN leaves- compare to the parable where Jesus expected fruit on the tree because it already had leaves- but found none!) REMEMBER ALSO- Rev. 22 where the leaves thereof are for the healing of nations.
Isaiah 6:13-
But yet in it shall be a tenth, and it shall return, and shall be eaten: as a teil tree, and as an oak, whose substance is in them, when they cast their leaves: so the holy seed shall be the substance thereof.
More on it- (we can't forget the winds!)
And THEN shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power AND glory. And THEN shall He send His angels and shall gather together HIS ELECT from the FOUR WINDS , from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.
Now, let's look at what's different in Mt 24-
Now learn a parable of the figtree: When HIS branch is yet tender ,and putteth forth leaves , ye know that summer is nigh.
Now again back up a tad.
And THEN shall appear the SIGN of the Son of man in heaven; and shall all the tribes MOURN ,and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. (Mt 5:3-4- Blessed are the poor in spirit: for THEIRS is the kingdom of heaven, blessed are they that mourn: FOR they shall be COMFORTED) REMEMBER- and I shall send you another COMFORTER- the Holy Ghost!
Godly sorrow which worketh TRUE REPENTANCE to salvation. -2Cor 7:10-

Repentance and the kingdom of God for His ELECT was preached and preached with much instruction on how to get it.
LK 21- BEHOLD the fig trees and ALL THE TREES. When THEY now shoot forth (which means not only the figs, the remnant, but the other tree's also, those against His kingdom! It's a scramble in a deadly race.) Ye SEE and KNOW of your own selves that summer is nigh (NOW) at hand , so LIKEWISE, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand. (WHAT do we know: It's simple- NOW look at John 14- when the WHAT comes? But the COMFORTER, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, HE shall TEACH you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
All these small variations are not by accident and are made to be searched out because all of this ties together and can be found in other places always. This is how we are shown to compare and diligently search the scriptures daily. This is what the real Holy Spirit does. He does not make you howl and dance and feel good and flop and babble. Thats why we are instructed to test the spirit! There are MANY spirits and most are not genuine. He teaches and causes us to understand the things God desires for us to search out. What makes the LAODACEAN church what it is?
John 15:2-
Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
Are we really for Him or against Him? We cannot be both! Are we for Him or for ourself? He truly knows.
Father God, I pray that we earnestly seek out all things You desire of us to understand and do, not just with lipservice, but in all sincerity fullfill your will. This I pray, in Jesus' Holy name - Amen. Peace be with you.

It all weaves together to create an intricate tapestry that one must stand back and look at the whole in order to see the big picture.

Da 11:4 And when he shall stand up, his kingdom shall be broken, and shall be divided toward the four winds of heaven; and not to his posterity, nor according to his dominion which he ruled: for his kingdom shall be plucked up, even for others beside those.

Da 8:8 Therefore the he goat waxed very great: and when he was strong, the great horn was broken; and for it came up four notable ones toward the four winds of heaven.
Re 7:1 And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.

Zec 2:6 Ho, ho, come forth, and flee from the land of the north, saith the LORD: for I have spread you abroad as the four winds of the heaven, saith the LORD.
Eze 37:9 Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.

Da 7:2 Daniel spake and said, I saw in my vision by night, and, behold, the four winds of the heaven strove upon the great sea.

Mt 24:31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
Mr 13:27 And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.

Jer 49:36 And upon Elam will I bring the four winds from the four quarters of heaven, and will scatter them toward all those winds; and there shall be no nation whither the outcasts of Elam shall not come.
