This Sunday morning, my youth pastor, Jimmy Scott, taught us that though we have to bring people to Christ, others may have a better influence on some non-christians. We need to be praying for those people and lifting them up so they get the right words and the right times to talk to those people. He also taught us that we need to support each of us because we are brothers and sisters. He told about how Moses was instructed during a war to hold up a staff atop a mountain. As long as that staff was raised, the Israelites would rock! YEAH!! But as the war went on, Moses's arms grew tired and hard to hold up. His family and tribe noticed this and went up there and supported his arms when they grew weak. They all helped him with his burden by supporting him. Do we, as brothers and sisters, support each other? Do we help eachother at all when we see others hurting or in need? Moses can teach us a lot more than to ten commandments!! I challenge you to help your brothers and sisters, spiritual or family, when they need it. You should help them to carry their burdens. When they stumble, help them to stand again!
