A kissing conundrum: Part Two

Some of the responses that I have been getting from the previous post indicate that I should in no way kiss Sarah, considering that she is nothing more than an acquaintance. Yet, no one has given me a specific reason. If it is consensual, what is wrong with kissing her?

I don't know if anyone has said this before but look...your 19, you like this girl and if she likes you back then go ahead and kiss her! Ask her first if you must. If she doesn't feel romantic towards you kissing her isn't a good idea because it isn't proper to kiss a girl who does not want to be kissed. Stop over analyzing this to death! Have you not kissed a girl before?

I, for one, consider kissing to be more than just a show of "Hey, I'm attracted to you." I would not kiss someone I did not love wholeheartedly.

Agreed. I've known people who would never dream of kissing someone without real romantic feelings, and other people who will kiss anything that isn't nailed down.
