You should study the Bible without Ellen White's writings if you're not sure what to believe about some things.
I have been. I don't use EGW's writings at all while studying the bible. I'm looking at her writings separately to see if they sync up. Many people trust her writings, so the least I could do is see if they are inspired according to the bible definition (that is, matching what the bible says). Nowhere did I say that I put EGW's material anywhere close to the bible or use it for bible interpretation.
