Exodus 34: 14 (for you shall worship no other god, for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God)
I know a lot of people would say different about this scripture. The reason I choose this scripture because 1)god can mean idol and idol can mean a human being. 2) A lot of women/men make their boyfriends/girlfriends, husbands/wives, or any other type of companion their god.

Ephesians 5:22-25
22 Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. 23 For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body. 24 Therefore, just as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything. 25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, 26 that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, 27 that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.
From my understanding a husband is suppose to submit himself unto the Lord. So when his wife submit herself unto him she is actually serving the Lord through her husband. I know that both of their personal relationship with Jesus Christ will grow also. If the husband decides not to obey what the word of God says and the wife continues to disobey God with her husband, I feel that she is putting that man before God or vice versa.(1 Corinthians 7:12-16) Correct me if I am wrong.

27 Are you bound to a wife? Do not seek to be loosed. Are you loosed from a wife? Do not seek a wife.

He who is unmarried cares for the things of the Lordhow he may please the Lord. 33 But he who is married cares about the things of the worldhow he may please his wife. 34 There is a difference between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman cares about the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit. But she who is married cares about the things of the worldhow she may please her husband. 35 And this I say for your own profit, not that I may put a leash on you, but for what is proper, and that you may serve the Lord without distraction.
I try to do the dating scene and etc. Every time I do the Lord closes the doors for me. I do not desire to be married right now and as far as sex I really dont desire to do that. The sex part can be very tricky but if I really avoid lustful people its actually easy.
When I do invite men into my life, they cut into my personal time with the Lord Jesus Christ. Not intentionally but it just seem to happens every time. Its not that my relationship with God changes(most of the time) but they are distractions. As single men and woman of God, how do you really know that your free time is ONLy meant for God and not someone else?

I do desire a mighty man of God but every time I think about that, the scripture that says seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you(Matthew 6:33)comes to heart.
