I wrote the following during a time that I experienced emotional healing from our heavenly Father, taking away all my pain, the sting of memories that remained in my mind and heart. It is overwhelming to experience the love of God in our lives. I am sure there is much hurt in this broken world, that we have experienced, are experiencing and will experience, but He is there in our time of need.

And memories which cause the flow of unwanted tears,
Wounds in our hearts that have remained for many years,
Stained in our memories, cries within which no one hears,
But all fades away as the Lord draws near,
With His presence declaring your cries He hears,
Begins to wipe away every single tear,
Taking your heart into His hands and with His love begins to heal.
